Pahari Hostels

    1. Government Boys Pahari Hostel, Jammu situated at Keran, Bantalab was made functional in new building. The project was inaugurated by Dr Farooq Ahmed Lone(IAS), Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department on 31-03-2019 in august presence of Sh Kartar Singh(KAS), Secretary, State Advisory Board for Developemnt of Pahari speaking people.

    2. Government Girls pahari Hostel Rajouri Government Girls Pahari Hostel Rajouri was jointly inaugurated by Shri Kafeel-ur-Rehan Vice-Chairman (Cabinet Minister) State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People and Shri Shabir Ahmed Khan Hon’ble Minister for Health (Independent Charge) on 25-12-2013 among others Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari Ex- Vice-Chairman, Mirza Abdul Rasheed Ex-Minister, Speaker and Ex-MP, Shri Showkat Hussain Kazmi Secretary of the Board Shri Mohd Saleem Malik Additional DC Rajouri were present on the inaugural ceremony. The sanctioned intake capacity is 100 but the hostel has been started with 50 Girls inmates in a rented building. This is the third Girls Pahari Hostel in the state and 9th Pahari Hostel in the State which was inaugurated on 25-12-2013.

Government Girls pahari Hostel Kupwara Government Girls Pahari Hostel Kupwara was inaugurated by Ms Sakina Itoo, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare on ____________ in the presence of Sh Saifullah Mir, Hon’ble Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Sh Kafil-ur-Rehman, Hon’ble Vice-Chairman (Cabinet Minister) State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, Syed Mohd Rafiq Shah, Hon’ble MLC, Sh Itrat Rafiqui, DDC Kupwara, Shri Showkat Hussain Kazmi Secretary of the Board, and SSP Kupwara Sh Abdul Jabbar. The sanctioned intake capacity is 100 but the hostel has been started with 50 Girls inmates.

Government Girls pahari Hostel Poonch Government Girls Pahari Hostel Poonch was inaugurated by Sh Kafil-ur-Rehman, Hon’ble Vice-Chairman (Cabinet Minister) State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People in the presence of Hon’ble MLA Poonch Sh Ajaz Jan, Hon’ble Members of State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People of district Poonch, DDC Poonch, SSP Poonch and Shri Showkat Hussain Kazmi Secretary of the Board. The sanctioned intake capacity is 100 but the hostel has been started with 50 Girls inmates.
